This policy covers all websites operated by OpenClaw Business School ("we", "us", "our"):

We've written this in plain English because nobody should need a law degree to understand how their data is used.

1. Who we are

OpenClaw Business School is operated by Prekon Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Our data protection contact is:

2. What data we collect

We keep it minimal. Right now we collect:

• Email address — when you voluntarily sign up via a form on any of our sites
• Signup source — which form/page you signed up from
• Timestamp — when you signed up

That's it. No names, no phone numbers, no payment details, no tracking cookies.

3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We collect your email address based on your explicit consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give this consent by checking the consent box and submitting the signup form.

We use your email to:

• Send you updates about OpenClaw Business School
• Notify you about early access, launches, and new content
• Send the newsletter you subscribed to (e.g. "The Agent Gap")

4. Who processes your data

We use EmailOctopus (Trio Media Ltd) as our email marketing platform. They act as a data processor on our behalf. Your email address is stored in their system to manage subscriptions and send emails. You can read EmailOctopus's privacy policy here.

5. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We also run a lightweight, cookieless analytics beacon that records page views, scroll depth, and time on page — without storing IP addresses or setting cookies.

Our lawful basis for analytics is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — we have a legitimate interest in understanding how our sites are used, and this is done without any impact on your privacy.

6. How long we keep your data

• Email addresses: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Analytics data: Aggregated, non-personal data retained for up to 90 days

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of any data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email, or contact us directly
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Complain — lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your rights have been violated

8. Data transfers

EmailOctopus may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses). Cloudflare processes data globally under their own privacy framework.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be communicated via email where possible.
